www.dance.ohio-state.edu/files/Bios/Will/DRG/Chenfeld.html
Despite being the longest website name I can remember seeing, this
site provides much excellent help for teachers who are seeking techniques
and looking for ways to find joy inteaching. Directed toward working
with younger children, but of value to all teachers
www.lesson-plans-online.com
If you're a teacher, you'll find much of interest at this site including
some free material and links to other free materials for teachers.
It's a commercial site, but with some interesting items. Their books
on teaching various Microsoft products are designed to be used by
school students (as opposed to adults) and are relatively inexpensive.
I like what they say about their books: "...students will often
be able to teach themselves new skills just by following the instructions. "
SITES WITH IDEAS FOR USING TECHNOLOGY IN TEACHING
www.edurobot.com
Web site of the RB5X robot company. This is a commercial site, but "RB5" is
a versatile technology teaching tool
Technology in Education Institute
Web site of the Technology in Education Institute. This site provides
workshops on designing on-line instructional systems, clearly a
direction which educators are beginning to explore. The information
about what
the workshops include gives teachers some idea of that process.
I have no direct experience with their workshops, but they look
very
complete and are worth a look if you're considering development
of on-line instruction. Their links page is well organized and
very
complete.
